Commission The Art You Want
Being able to get artwork of your favourite characters is always exciting, but not everyone has the time or skill to draw the art they really want. That's why I offer lots of styles and varying prices so that you can find what works best for your vision.Take a moment to read all the options and be sure to check the "Additions" tab for more on backgrounds, additional characters and complex pieces. Then, contact me via Twitter, Email, or using the contact section.
What To Expect
All prices are in USD. I do payments via Paypal or Ko-Fi, which will be worked out prior to receiving the full piece. Upon receiving an order I will produce a sketch to make sure things are going in the direction you want. If the sketch is good, I will request a $5 (USD) down payment before proceeding. This is just to cover the time spent and ensures that there is a commitment. This $5 Down payment will be deducted from your final, so do not worry.As I work on pieces I will send updates. These can be as frequent (or infrequent) as you'd like. I usually follow up with one outline update to clarify things since sketches may be deceiving. Depending on the type of art I will also send colour pre-shading and work pre-backgrounds.For final files I usually send a high resolution PNG in RGB, working in canvas sizes between 8.5" x 11" to 11" x 17" (standard paper and tabloid size). If you wish for a different size, file type (note: I will not send layered files) or colour-mode be sure to specify.

CLASSIC STYLES
Classic Styles are just artwork of characters you want art of. They can be as dynamic or as standard as you request with full customization. There are a variety of shaded levels, so be sure to pick what works best for both your vision and your budget!
Classic Style Prices are for ONE character with either a transparent or solid background. For pricing on multiple characters, backgrounds and more visit the Additions section.
Flat Illustration
Solid outlines, usually black but can be slightly coloured, with a colour inside. Great for references/design display
Half Body - $20
Full Body - $25
Cell-Shaded
Uses blocked-in shading to create depth. Ideal for budget-friendly dynamic art.
Half Body - $30
Full Body - $40
Fully Shaded
Makes use of various shading styles such as blending, hard shading, gradients and layer blend modes to create a fully fleshed out piece.
Half Body - $60
Full Body - $80

Backgrounds
Simple Patterns
Uses simple hand drawn patterns in the background. This can be repeated, this can be abstract. Anything that involves more work than a solid colour or gradient

Ambiance
Things like skies (day or night) or just lighting effects like Fire. Nothing is highly detailed, just sorta gives the piece a certain feel

Containing additional items that the character is interacting with or to establish rough setting

Scene
Includes additional items, establishes foreground/background, a scene is built

Advance Scene
Anything including intense perspective and architecture immediately is considered an advanced scene.

Commission Guide...
Knowing how to lay out your commission can be daunting, so here's some tips on how to do that, including a template at the bottom you can simply fill out if its easier.
Picking Your Order Type
"Order Type" refers to what style you want. The terms for each style is the headline found under the examples. So, if you wanted a piece that isn't shaded, the "Order Type" would be "Flat Illustration".
When filling out "Order Type", you are welcome to also include any information on Background or Additions. Example: "Soft Cell-Shaded, 3 Characters, Simple Pattern."
The point of this is to allow me to gauge orders quickly based on their Order Type. If I have several Fully-Shaded pieces can better inform how long it may take to get to each.
Providing the Details
As you begin filling out the description, you may ask yourself how much should you say? What's too much? Too little?
My general suggestion: Use images and references when possible is best, otherwise, don't be afraid to provide extra description.
If you have character references, link to them. If you don't, try and find images with similarities. Be it a hairstyle, a skin colour, a clothing style, body shape. These things are much clearer and translate better than text can. But, when all else fails, do your best. If I am unsure or need clarification I will ask for it, I do my best to create exactly what you want.
When it comes to posing, it can be difficult, especially if you aren't overly sure yourself. In these cases, I encourage giving character personalities or key history points. This gives me something to pull from and keep your character as accurate as possible.
When it comes to backgrounds, just remember even if you provide an image it may not be the exact same. Part of it is I don't like copying things perfectly, whoever drew/took that image put their own work in, so I'll put my own in. But I try to be as close to the feel of it I can.
